  • The reissue of Caroline K's Now Wait For Last Year will come out on April 26th. Caroline Kaye Walters was a pioneer of minimal synth music starting in the late '70s. She played alongside Nigel Ayers in cult act Nocturnal Emissions and founded Sterile Records, which released music from experimental acts like Lustmord. Her 1985 album—the only solo album she published before her death from leukemia in 2008—has accrued a cult following among fans of '70s and '80s fringe electronics. The LP's title is taken from a Philip K. Dick novel about an addictive hallucinogen which enables users to time-travel. It was originally re-issued in 2010 as a CD by Austrian label Klanggalerie. That label is co-presenting the wax version with Blackest Ever Black. You can listen to album cut "Animal Lattice" below.
