  • DJ Python will release an LP called Dulce Compañia on a new label, Incienso, run by Anthony Naples and Jenny Slattery. The eight-track LP touches on "deep house, shoegaze, trance and of course, reggaeton," the label says. When recording as DJ Python, New York producer Brian Piñeyro tends towards a percussion-heavy sound that he calls "deep reggaeton." The last DJ Python release, a 12-inch called ¡Estéreo Bomba! came via Proibito, Naples' other label, around this time last year. Piñeyro also released an EP of breakbeat tracks as DJ Xanax last October, then an EP as Luis for 1080p a month after that. He put out his first couple of records under the name DJ Wey, including a 12-inch for Lovers Rock and another for BANK NYC. Read more about Piñeyro in RA's Breaking Through profile from this year. Listen to "Yo Ran (Do)."
