  • Robert Hood is next up in !K7's DJ-Kicks mix series. The former Underground Resistance member follows last month's entry from Mount Kimbie, with the 66th edition due on November 16th. The 22-track techno mix features four new and exclusive productions from Hood and includes music from Matrixxman, Truncate, Slam and Clouds. The CD and digital release will include all of the available tracks, while the vinyl sampler will take eight cuts from the mix, such as Hood's "Focus." This year, Hood has released a 12-inch, Clocks, on his own label, M-Plant, and Paradygm Shift Volume 3 on Dekmantel. He also DJs and makes music with his daughter, Lyric Hood, as Floorplan. Listen back to Hood's RA Exchange from last year's Dekmantel Festival and revisit Will Lynch's interview from 2014.
