Nicola Cruz has mixed the latest fabric presents volume.
Out in November, the mix focusses strongly on artists from Latin America, where Cruz grew up. (He was born in France but raised in Ecuador.) 14 of the 26 tracks—including music by former RA podcasters Verraco and Nick León—are new. Cruz also contributed three cuts.
"I feel I've reconnected with electronic dance music and that's what this mix is about in a way; being able to understand again, and to compose and play with this energy that I had forgotten," he said. "The same goes with my live show at the moment, the concept is basically enjoying the driving nature of electronic music."
On the same day the mix is released—Friday, November 18th—Cruz will join Jane Fitz, Kiara Scuro, Enrica Falqui and more at fabric for the launch party.
