- Dependable house tools with character.
- Unknown To The Unknown's records might be spacey, but they're also fun. It's a rare balance DJ Haus's label has nailed for the past few years, especially on recent releases from Frak and Benny Rodrigues. The same goes for Bell Towers' My Body Is A Temple, which pairs star-gazing synths with goofy vocals. The two originals, "My Body Is A Temple" and "My Body Is A Tempo," are solid, the kind of tracks DJs can spin to crowds big and small at almost any point of the night. But as far as dependable tools go, "My Body Is A Temple" has more personality than most, thanks to the clever deep house synths and those vocals. So whether it's spun at The Warehouse Project or you're local pub, expect it to do the job.
Fellow Australian András gives "My Body Is A Tempo" an extended early breakdown in his rework, so save his version for when you're hoping for a big moment. The drum roll and hissing white noise make that section frustratinngly predictable, but the DJs who spin this kind of music aren't looking for curveballs. These are safe tracks with enough character to stand out.
