• Bicep get contemplative at 135 BPM.

  • By now we know that Isles, Bicep's forthcoming second album, will lean heavily on the duo's signature neon euphoria. But it's not all anthems. "Sundial," the fourth and final single, cuts a mellow figure alongside the previous three, even if the woody drums still rattle along at 135 BPM. Radiant synths and a beautifully haunting vocal, sampled from the score of the 1973 Bollywood film Raja Rani, combine to woozy effect, like a breeze blowing through a tall cornfield. The knee-jerk response isn't so much hands in the air as eyes shut in deep contemplation.
