- Continuing on from last year's Part 1, Daniel Stefanik presents three new tracks, again varying the styles. The dub-influenced "#five" sounds like a submerged carousel; a bobbing, circular dance where there's no threat of anything flying off the course. Bubble-flocked chords and gentle bass teeter slowly through the deep together, their rounded tones lulling as effectively as any lullaby. The other two are more straightforward, setting up strong grooves and lending themselves to big rooms. In both, this is achieved with dominant percussion and bass. In "#four," a washy hi-hat and gruff bass patch deliver the punch. Coupled with its ten minute duration and patient progression, it almost feels like '90s prog. "#six" is pretty similar, but works a tougher tip, using white noise sprays and simple but hypnotic lows. The latter builds itself into a series of wire-twanging peaks, rising up from the depths to do battle with the track's chugging hi-hat.
