Showboxx on Leipziger Straße is right opposite the Old Slaughterhouse, but by way of contrast is small compact club with regular nights. It's techno and house for the most part here but disco is played at the regular gay events and Showboxx has a reputation for this, though it's actually very mixed. The club has two floors and is like an old warehouse in appearance. There's a chill-out room which can be reached by going up some steps where you sit down in comfort on a sofa and observe the partying. Punters here are part of the Dresden scene.
