  • FU, plays a european house music like a deep house / groove, break beats, indie dance, tech house, minimal with productions, remixes and DJing by taking the very building blocks of House and deftly reconstructing them with a modern twist.
FU is a Turkish electronic music artist, based in Istanbul, whose journey in music began in 2016 and began experimenting with electronic music production. He then began DJing a year later, teaching himself through internet resources and endless practice. His determination and unyielding passion for music have since fueled his constant pursuit of growth and evolution. FU's musical influences are diverse. Believing music to be a universal language, he listens to a wide variety of sounds and styles, picking up inspiration from everywhere and integrating it into his own sound. He spent roughly three years creating and performing melodic house/techno and indie dance music before realizing that these genres didn't fully resonate with his musical identity. Since then, he has been focusing on house/deep house, minimal, deep tech, break beat, and drum and bass genres, where he feels he can express himself more authentically. As an artist who has performed in 32 different provinces in Turkey, collaborating with numerous night clubs and performing at countless festivals, FU has been able to share stages with a host of local and international artists. This has granted him a broad perspective on the music scene and has honed his skills in crowd control and maintaining hype during his performances. FU's music creation process starts primarily with drums, followed by basslines, and finishes with melodies and synths. Vocal elements are present in nearly all his works as he believes they add a significant layer to the music's overall feel. His signature sound, however, lies in his unique drum and bassline patterns. One of FU's most memorable performances was in Baku, Azerbaijan, where he played an extended set to a crowd of approximately 1,000-1,500 people. Despite being unable to see the audience due to the club's low lighting, he played by the crowd's reactions, resulting in an exhilarating and gratifying experience. FU prides himself on his ability to adapt his sets according to the vibe of the venue, choosing to rely on improvisation rather than rigid plans. Currently, FU is excited to share his new sounds with his listeners. He is also working on a new artist persona, "WHERE IS FU," under which he will be releasing music produced in the breakbeat and drum and bass minimal genres. With each production, FU strives to create compositions that let listeners tap into the mood and emotion he experienced while creating the music. He is eager to continue this musical journey, excitedly anticipating where it may lead next.
