- 109 Groovy was foundend on 2006 in Varese by Luca Speed and Maark. They had played in varied club of North-Italy like Kindergarten, Bolgia, Matrix Club, Flori Asia, at the Seven After Party @ Wish club of Riccione.The 109 Groovy duo was born in 2006 in Varese, from Luca Speed & Maark. At the time, Luca Speed was already immersed in the clubbing world as organizer, responsible of PR and member of RND Promotion Agency, an agency with the exclusive of tickets and party buses for the major parties in Europe. Luca meet Maark at the Matrix Club, where he was responsible of its PR staff. In 2006, thanks to a Maark's Contact, they played for the first time at "Ferragosto d'Italia Party", in the biggest italian club located in Riccione, called "The Ecu Club". After the success of their first appearence, we can find them in many clubs of the Northern Italiy such as Kindergarten, Bolgia, Matrix Club, Florida, Asia, The Seven After Party at Wish Club Riccione as resident at 2007 summer season where they played with the top DJ’s such as Guido Schneider, Xpansul, Rino Cerrone, Markantonio, Chris Liebing, Speedy J and more. We can find the also in 2007 and 2008 at the editions of the NYE Milan party, one of the biggest party in Italia. And in the last summer they've taken part of the charity project "Music For Life" at the Forte Sperone in Genova. 109 Groovy play their sets with a mix of new hardware and software: Traktor Scratch, Ableton Live, controller Midi and FX controller. Their livesets is a mix between a classic dj-set and a computer liveset, and their music is a mix of different styles: techno, minimal for a strong impact on the dancefloor. From the last year they've started their producer career, releasing their first track on Zirben Digital, and right now there are some project in progress. Nowaday 109 Groovy are resident dj's at Electrosplash Party, and itinerant party in Varese and Milan.
