Swedish born DJ and Producer Adam Stromstedt has been turning heads in Scandinavia and beyond since 2007 from the launch of his Red Balloon summer parties in Stockholm and strongly growing affiliation with his Junk Yard Connections family. An eclectic talent who’s selection credits his personality, and his interests in the broader range of minimal house and sample heavy cosmic techno have pushed his career in many directions, a further tribute to the diversity in his productions. After some time in Germany he traded Berlin for Sydney, where he continues producing and djing. Adam has released EPs and tracks on said label as well as British labels Crow Castle Cuts, Banoffee Pies Records and his newly formed label Lyssna Records which he runs together with close friends Mohammed Al Harbiti and Flord King. Words on JYC-001:
"New Swedish label done by two 20 year old guys doing it true DIY style. A excellent debut with two fresh house tracks with a soft melancholic touch over the classic 909 percussion. The opening track reminds us of another debut track... Octave one's I Believe, with the same moody openings chords and vocals on top. Flip side delivers another sweet Detroit influenced track with nice rolling 909 machine and warm chords. Nice release that we can recommended." – Clone.nl
"JYC-001 is the first release from Junk Yard Connections. A small indie-label formed by a twenty years old guy from Stockholm. Highvalley is a floating track with elements and inspiration from jungle like Motown, but still with a steady housegroove. Feel is a track with a lot of melancholy mixed with a great swing. Perfect for the afterhour! JYC-001 will just be released in wax and strictly limited to 250 numbred copies." – Decks.de

"Three killer tracks by Mr.Tophat, Art Alfie, Adam Stromstedt on their own Junk Yard Connections label. Openings track is straight away a huge track that will make them bounce like crazy. Bakey Usti the swedisch way. Great fresh approach by these young producers. Vinyl only affair!"
Words on CCC1402:
"The typically packed Owain's Lagoon EP marks the final chapter in Crow Castle Cuts hugely enjoyable series of twelve inch releases which have touched on all corners of the techno and house spectrum. Luv Jam maintains his 100% appearance record on the series, opening up with "Turnipple" a sublime dusty house production that sets the tone nicely, with Schmitt Finger's "Bethsedia Bison" offering slightly more punch whilst still resolutely deep in its approach. "Track 3" and it's numerical friend on the flip offer little more than prodigious sampling opportunities courtesy of Glynn Geroig, and proceedings take a typical turn for the weird from here. Mr Tophat & Adam Stromstedt go star gazing on the expansive analogue cosmiche of "Tingeling," whilst "Valley Crucis Radio Party" demonstrates Cy in equally esoteric mood. Those saddened by this end of an era will no doubt be emboldened by the accompanying sheet of A4 that hints the Crow Castle Cuts journey will appear soon on a different path set for Knaresborough, of all places." "The nice Junkyard Connection label returns with their 7th release... and each release they get better! Three deep nordic house cuts by Adam Stromstedt & Alan Delius. Limited supply!" Clone.nl
"Dont know much about this label and it doesnt seem to get any hype - good! We have been digging all of the recent ep's and this one is some serious underground house moves - subtle but tough enough for the right floors - check it!"

DJ Mag:
"Alan Delius and Adam Strömstedt, of Stockholm's Junk Yard Connections crew, drop this fabulously generous five-tracker for Banofee Pies, only the label's second release. It's as house music should be; blazingly funky, achingly soulful, slightly twisted and eminently danceable. 'When We' pulses with a twisted piano, 'Scuze Me' plumbs Brandy's R&B benchmark 'The Boy Is Mine' for inspiration and 'Reflektioner 17.19' ups the BPMs and bass. Meanwhile, 'The Third Bass' breaks up the beats and embraces oddball hip house, and 'Joe Doesn't Pass' shoots you with a tranquilizer dart."
Deep House Amsterdam:
"Banoffee Pies present their second limited press white label release following the successful cosmic disco-infused debut BP01. This time, BP02 takes a whole new angle, further complimenting the open-minded, anything-goes approach the guys at Banoffee have adopted for their imprint. This VA hosts two talented Stockholm-born artists and proud members of the Junk Yard Connections crew, Adam Stromstedt and Alan Delius."
Words on BP003:
"Banoffee Pies Records return to their original white label imprint for another limited EP with BP003. TIP. Again the Bristol label continue to compile artists and styles from all over following there no f***s given approach to the original constraints of how a labels sound “should” be perceived by the listener.
The one sided A1 heavily samples a drum solo from the blockbuster film of 2015 Whiplash, a strung out track filled with space and delicate percussion. Jaffa Surfas B1 provides a mid way techno break pumped with analog sounds and a swirling kick throughout. To end, the finely unearthed and re-issued B2 edit closes this diverse piece of wax with a bang offering something completely different. Rolling jazz feelings for the dance floor. More love for the Banoffee people."
Juno:
"Bristol imprint Banoffee Pies comes at us with their third release. This time they've handed the reigns to Swedes and Junk Yard Connections alumni Adam Stromstedt & Art Alfie. They give us the deep and soothing "Drum Off" and like the name might suggests: there are some pretty crazy drums going off in there. Jaffa Surfa's (aka Zoltan Pal/Zee) "Souled Out" is early noughties style filtered disco house; always a worthy addition. While on the flip we've got "KO Bad (Hansel Edit)" a bit of dusty, smoked out, hip-hop inspired deep house that fans of Glenn Astro and Max Graef will well dig!"
Stamp The Wax:
"Beginning with ‘Drum Off’, we’re immediately woken up by a hearty kick and slightly off-kilter percussion. As the track builds, so does the tension, with playful sections of live sampled drumming. The short spoken vocal explains the name of the track, with a subtle piano melody gorgeously bringing it all together. The track is the perfect synthesis of Adam Strömstedt and Art Alfie‘s production styles, the former bringing the syncopated, tinkling percussion, the latter drawing on his darker, melodious sound to form a cohesive, club-centric piece."
