- One of House music’s most intriguing artists, Adesse Versions has been refining his sound since 2012. Though in reality it’s just another incarnation of Kevin Gorman, a veteran music producer active since the late 1990s.Adesse Versions first made a public appearance on the infamous Boiler Room, with a 100% dubplate vinyl set. A series of stylish underground singles followed, cementing his place with the anthemic ‘Pride’ for Glasgow label Numbers. A Chaka Khan sampling peak- timer, it reached a wildly diverse audience. On the one hand, play-listed for BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM and receiving a Guardian write up; while also championed and edited by both Soulwax and Kölsch, even dropped at Berghain by Marcel Dettmann. Not bad for a vinyl only release. Adesse Versions is also a prolific remixer, having recently tackled Leftfield, Kerri Chandler, Darius Syrossian, as well as Mercury nominated band Blossoms and celeb Dita Von Teese. His remix and singles discography is awash with influential labels- Ninja Tune, Ed Banger, Rhythm Section, Crosstown Rebels, Madhouse, Hot Creations, Virgin, Sony, Decca and many more. Prior to his time as Adesse Versions, Kevin was a regular fixture in the techno world with music for Ostgut Ton, Cocoon and Stroboscopic Artefacts. As a close ally of DJ Hell, he had his first taste playing legendary venues such as Berghain, Rex and Fabric.
