  • Anomalous DJ (ADJ) is the alias of Antony Price, co-founder of Anomalous, a creative studio, event space and multidisciplinary collective. Anomalous Sounds is his audio project for DJ mixes, broadcasts and curated party experiences.
Anomalous DJ is an experienced and eclectic music fiend with a passion for mixing a wide range of genres. Whilst having primarily focused much of his career on audio visual production and nightlife documentation, he has consistently maintained DJ residencies and guest spots in London since the mid 90’s and continues to express his passion for electronica via his Anomalous Sounds project and AAJA radio residency. From humble beginnings in East London's underground warehouse and squat party scene, through to residencies with the leftfield collective The Pranksters, Antony honed his mixing skills and eclectic electronic sound with residencies at clubs and bars across London in the 90s/00s, including Turnmills, The Mass, Cargo, The Blue Note, SeOne, 93ft East, The Spitz and Plastic People to name a few, while getting to play alongside luminaries such as as Coldcut, Hexstatic, Giles Peterson, Meat Katie, Damian Lazarus, Claude Young, Kirk Degiorgio and Jeff Mills. With a host of self promoted nights and guest spots over the last 15 years he has continued to play alongside DJs he greatly admires, including Giles Smith, James Priestley, Jay Shepheard, Tomoki Tamura, Andy Blake, Colin Dale, Mark Seven, DJ October, Rex the Dog, Lena Willikins, Maurice Fulton, Hunee, Elena Columbi, Cromby, Ben Gomori, Reggae Roast, Pegasvs and Sam Don.
