- AgainstMe is a greek Berlin-based producer, DJ, and co-founder of the collective SOCIETY 3000.Kostas aka AgainstMe is a greek Berlin-based DJ, Producer & co-founder of SOCIETY 3000 and core member of USM Recordings. The project “AgainstMe” started back in 2017 on his home island Lesvos,Greece and it stands for the continuous fight with ourselves to align our inner voice with our soul and beliefs. In 2014, at the age of 16 years old, he first discovered his passion for DJing and producing and he did his first steps into the music industry under a different alias in a wider range of electronic music. His music has been released on different labels around the world, but as he was at a very young age, he was still discovering his self and what style of music expresses him the most. The project “AgainstMe” came to life two years later after his first Rave / Techno parties in Lesvos, Greece. For him at that point, techno music was something completely new, uniting and revolutionary which was going against everything that he had experienced before. The distorted melodies and the heavy drum patterns along with the ritualistic vibe of these parties made him immediately fall in love with everything around this sound and what it stands for. Since then, his music got released on different record labels around the world. Some of the most important releases during the last years were, his album “Synopsis” in Subsist, “Tension Seeker” in Warok and "Defend" In VOXNOX. He already enjoyed support from artists like Dax J, DVS1, Rodhad, K-Hand, Mikael Delta, Richie Hawtin, Marco Bailey, Kanding Ray and many more. For him, the absolute goal of a DJ is to connect with the crowd and build a unique moment together. So his sound could be characterized as multidimensional, energetic and storytelling. Some of the venues/parties he performed at are Qreclaim, Temple Athens, Suicide Berlin, About Blank, Astron Bar, and many more. Currently, he has just built his new studio in Berlin and he is experimenting a lot with Modular Systems and unorthodox techniques to produce grooves and bleepy patterns.̸Synopsis Album on Subsist Records
