- Başak Günak known as Ah! Kosmos is a composer and producer who works from Berlin, Germany. She uses experimentation with found sounds, analogue and electronic composition. She released her second LP 'Beautiful Swamp' from Compost Records.Born in Istanbul, she earned an MA in Sound Design & Engineering before releasing her debut EP, Flesh, in 2013. Her debut full-length, Bastards, arrived the following year on experimental label Denovali Records. "Each of the album's eight individual tracks shuns segregation, merging to form a rippling, organic, layered whole, underpinned with subtle vocal lines and sparse, uncluttered beats," Crack wrote. "It's murky, moody, and utterly engrossing." She also works in composition and sound design for contemporary dance, theatre, and short films.
