- Panamanian-Russian DJ and music producer born in Panama City, with 11 years of experience in electronic music.The combination of Slavic and Latin roots make Mullen an avant-garde artist, with music experience covering several countries. From a very young age Alex took his first steps in electronic music in Panama where he began his musical journey. Wishing to expand his knowledge and with a thirst for culture, Mullen moved to Barcelona and studied at the prestigious ‘SAE Institute’ which lent him a strength and elegance that belies his years. He lived in Barcelona for several years, sharing a DJ booth with prominent international artists such as ANDRE CROM, DJ T, KATE SIMKO, REELOW, IGNACIO MORALES, PEDRO VICARIO, MARCO YANES, WADE, HECTOR, DIMITRI MONEV, ANEY F, SHADED AND MANY MORE.. His latest project is Sess Music: a collective music label and promotion company with a minimalist concept. It was founded in Panama and has travelled to electronic music capitals such as Ibiza, Barcelona, Vienna, Milan and Medellin. The resulting music seeks to link the different aspects of these cultures on the dance floor. Sess music is projected into the future as something three-dimensional, encompassing great things knowing all public and clubbers of the world to give them the best of electronic music. Mullen remains faithful to house music, but nuances of techno, lounge music, deep house and minimal run through the beats. It is his feeling that the combination of these genres creates unparalleled atmospheres. Alex´s positive vibe, energy and attitude has won him a loyal following. He continues on his path as a producer, creating innovative new projects and participating in high profile events worldwide. Mullen is currently focused on music production and spending time in the studio, inspired by silence.
