He originally started mixing records at a young age, developing a very unique taste and fine track selection combined with impressive skills behind the decks. Ali-G has the intention to share his true passion and love for Dance Music by staying one step ahead of future trends, while discovering many of the big sounds way before they hit the mainstream ears and markets. Thru the years, He has rocked many dancefloors, from underground warehouse parties to rooftop residencies to major nightclubs to DJ sets at larger festivals such as HARD in Los Angeles. Influenced by the early sounds of dance music acts such as Faithless, Prodigy, Carl Cox , Eric Prydz, Armand Van Helden, Erick Morillo, Deep Dish, Roger Sanchez, Richard Vission and Steve Angello. Ali has previously performed alongside world renowned Djs such as Lee Burridge, Sharam, Steve Lawler, DJ Reza, Gui Boratto, Jack Beats and Destructo, just to name a few. Ali-G also manages the label ‘Saturday Night Sessions’, exposing other upcoming artists and well seasoned veterans by releasing their production and music worldwide and has managed to land many of those releases on the Beatport Top 100 Charts. Ali Ghanavi is the host of the SNS podcast with more than 125 episodes featuring mixes from some of the best DJs in the world.
