- DJ, producer and vocalist Alison has been playing records since the mid 90's. Originally based in Manchester winning Muzik magazine's DJ competition led to a move to London, international gigs and residencies at Plastic People, Turnmills and Propaganda..DJ, producer and vocalist Alison has been playing records since the mid 90's. Originally based in Manchester winning Muzik magazine's DJ competition led to a move to London, international gigs and residencies at Plastic People, Turnmills and Propaganda Moscow as well as a regular show on Groovetech radio. Parallel to her DJing Alison has been building her studio since 1998 and monikers include Wallflower with Leah Floyeurs, Kiska, Lumina with Helen Copnall, under her own name or as Alison Mars. Her music is released on Rebirth, Dogmatik, Bu-Mako Recordings and Dessous. Her upcoming Wallflower release on Rebirth features Alison’s songwriting, vocals and production and has been remixed by personal hero Larry Heard, her vocals have also been remixed by Charles Webster. Alison also provides additional mixing for Jimmy Clanfield.
