- andré started his carreer in one of berlins first house clubs „walfisch“ in berlin 1992, todays the „sage club“ . followed by many dj-sets and a range of public „studio b.“ – partys in berlin and sourrounding areas. studio b was the first recordshop of..House is a feeling and house is the reason that inspired andre to spinn records in the beginning of the 90’s untill today. André Gardeja started his early DJ career in 1992 at Berlins’ legendary house club ‘Walfisch’, known as the world famous ‘Sage Club’ today. After early dj gigs in various locationand underground partys in berlin followed by regular DJ sets mixed for the unexcelled ‘Studio B’ underground parties in and around Berlin. Extending the popularity of the then well established ‘Studio B’ brand, André in 1997 founded a record store by the same name attracting DJs from all over the world, well aware about his unique selection of rare releases and pumping vinyl. It was throughout those days when André fortified his reputation as an undisputed hero of Europes’ club scene playing in all major metros and on the big summer festivals. The next decisive step in André’s career took place in 2001 when as a co-founder he launched the unequalled record label, event series and record store Freizeitglauben. Running these platforms and connecting different artists, event organisers, and party crowds for more than 15 years, André Gardeja evolved as an essential mastermind to the European House and Techno world. Unforgotten are his shows at MELT & FUSION Festival in Germany, PLOCK Festival in Poland, SONAR Festival in Switzerland, and CAMEL CIRCLE Events in Spain. The list of his DJ friends he performed with is endless but a few like Jennifer Cardini, Ricardo Villalobos, Acid Maria, Ata & Heiko, MSO, The Mole, Zip, Thomas Melchior and DJ Krick need to be highlighted. A regular to the most popular venues in Berlin such as Tresor, Maria, Arena Club, Berghain, Dice, Renate, and Bar 25, André Gardeja is now traveling the world to discover new destinations and to pass on his vast experience in DJing to newly emerging music scenes. The great success of his first visit to India in 2009 and the outstanding crowd that bounced to his beats got him hooked on. In 2010, Andre has packed up his record case again and will bring some brand-new music with him to celebrate much more Tamasha*. Also he create a project together with the Geothe Institute (Max Müller Bhawan) in New Delhi and compiled a CD compilation that featured indian and european artist of the electronic music scene. This Release was published on his own recordlabel Freizeitglauben.
