- Ankytrixx is an Indian Electronica DJ and Producer. Currently winner of *DJ OF THE YEAR* & ranked No.1 in India for Electronic Music (2012,2013) on the MyFavDj Poll! With over 150 gigs annually for the last 2 years, sharing stages with the likes of..ANKYTRIXX stands unmatched in his takeover of the electronic dance music landscape of India, not only has he earned affection and love from his fans, he storms every dance floor with his signature music magic and fabulous stage persona. Standing winner of the prestigious MyFav Awards for the #DJ of the Year (2013) and winner of the #No1 DJ in Electronica (2012, 2013) consecutively, (India's biggest Peoples Choice Awards Poll) for artists, Ankytrixx has gone up several notches in the International Dance Music scene and is one of the busiest DJs in Asia, with over 150 gigs annually for the last 5 years. Adding another dimension to his musicality, Ankytrixx has taken on the role of producer with his Singles release titled - ''No Kontrol'' with a remix by Da Fresh on Freshin Records and is available on Beatport. This stunning Techno bomb has already seen early support from some of the biggest dance Djs in the business of the likes of Piatto,The Scumfrog, Marco Carola, Meat Katie, Umek, Olivier Giacomotto, Spartaque to name a few. Followed up by his latest release "MAYDAY" on Techno super star Spartaque's I AM TECHNO label hit the charts in April 2014, the tune has gone on to become an instant dance floor sensation with support from the likes of Nicole Moudaber, Stefano Noforini, Spektre, and many more. Furthermore, the track jostled right to it's lofty position of #45 on the Beatport Techno Top 100 within a matter of days. A Techno/ Deep House specialist; his body of work covers a vast spectrum of underground electronic sounds effortlessly. John Digweed, Dave Seaman, to Guy J, Henry Saiz, Richie Hawtin, Spartaque and Dubfire are just some of the renowned names Ankytrixx has lent his able support to, over the last decade. More-over he co-runs a company by the name of Audiophile Network; an agency which handles artists, events and customized concepts in the nightlife entertainment segment of India. The company has hosted show cases at the annual ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) in 2013/14, to packed houses and features some of the best artists of the planet. As a DJ, Ankytrixx maintains an international schedule and tours extensively throughout Europe, and Asia. During summer, one can find him at the best venues of Amsterdam, Ibiza, Berlin, Barcelona, Prague, Istanbul. From Studio80 in Amsterdam, to KaterHolzig & Renate in Berlin, super club PACHA, Bora Bora, Sankeys in Ibiza, LeClan in Prague, 360 & Blow in Istanbul see's him as a regular fixture in recent years. He is also billed at some of the best festivals in India such as Sunburn, Sula Fest, Dusk, Barefoot to international festivals such as Tree Of Life (Turkey), Pearl Festival (London) and Universal Religion (Nepal), Wild Und Frei (Amsterdam) and Electropicales (Madagascar). In recent news, he has introduced a fresh new dance music property CTRL ALT DANCE that saw a debut in Goa during December of 2014, this festival platform is an exploration in to eclectic underground dance music and pay ode to more than 50 artists who play the style, under one sky . A musical package that is an introduction, education and initiation towards more advanced and intelligent soundscapes.
