Toma sampled with old hip hop loops and instrumentals originally before getting into the styles of Chicago house and the old New York house since it reminded him of the 80's tracks he grew up on during the 90's. He developed a love for the house seen while living abroad in Tokyo, Japan and got into productions overseas prior to moving back to New York City.
