Album links : http://smarturl.it/CH030A Anton grew up listening classical music and movie music. Particularly he found that film compositions carried intense emotion, a vast variety of styles and musical complexity which appealed to him. It was at this point that he decided to take up an instrument starting with the classical guitar at the age of 10. This is an instrument which still echoes in many of his pieces, and that he uses for his live performances on stage. Aside from film music, it also drew extensive inspiration from famous guitar players such as Jose Gonzalez and Jeff Buckley. These sources of inspiration motivated Anton to launch into several musical projects, which he then merged into one. The style of this up-and-coming composer bears the hallmarks of these first influences, containing electronical, instrumental and cinema-inspired overtones. Anton Dhouran applies the same contemporary music undercurrent in the music that he uses both for the stage and for listening. Anton’s music is riven by a desire to take listeners on a journey and generate powerful and intense emotions. This composer aims to merge modern digital sound with classically inspired instrumental work, melding them both on stage and in the sound studio, blending synthesisers, violins, flutes, guitars, percussion, drum machines, drums, classical singing… « Anton Dhouran, a new name has just walked into the electronic music scene, a name from which you will hear a lot more in the (near) future. » P.H « Anton Dhouran revealed himself as a whiz kid of the French scene. » N.A.M.E festival « I’ve loved Anton’s work for a while now, there’s a contemporary melodic charm about it. » Change Underground …
