- Arthur Keen is a Producer, DJ and a Live Performer. Started playing in 2002 as a Hard Dance dj two years after that he got influenced by techno and tech house vibes and reinvent himself as a dj and producer. With Poison Agency which has been running an..Just after six months from the very first time Arthur Keen put his hands on the 12” for the first time, He started playing in a West London venue called Euphoria. It all began when the Hard Dance scene was really strong in the UK and in London so his first steps were behind bpm’s above 145. Shortly after that Arthur has met Chris and Mario and they decided to start up a Promotion they called The Poison. Their first event was for friends only and they’ve managed to get just over a hundred people. Very quickly they managed to build up a reputation of one of the most versatile promotions in the Capital of UK and build up fair following that allowed them to hire venues such as Scala, Fire, Colosseum, Area, Hidden and many more. As an artist Arthur Keen managed to be at the very front of the scene and started producing his own music. He decided to step away from Hard Dance and join the Tech house and Techno field. It was a decision based on his drive to become a Live Performer he is today as he believed slower beat allowed him to express more of his spirit and gain more of a control over his music. HIs unique approach to mixing and production together with an experimental spirit makes his Live Performance real treat for any fan of deep and groovy beats. Deep bass lines and strong drum grooves along with electronic and progressive blends is what characterises his style, For past five years he was developing his skills behind his live set up and behind the decks,as a dj with Poison going strong in London’s Underground scene. Poison gained an interest from Uk’s leading Club Land web sites such as DontStayIn and got a title, Polish Clubbing Mafia. Last years Arthur Keen joined a Republlic Artists Collective as a Resident dj. With gigs everwhere from Ibiza through Uk to Poland he is working hard on supporting an underground scene. January 2011 Arthur started an education program with one of the biggest Polish Clubbing web sites TOPDJ.PL, which is meant to support young and coming talent dj’s and producers. An idealists and dedicated loyal supporter of truly inspiring and growing scene we have seen progressing for years, Arthur Keen has a lot more to offer in the future and should be one to watch.
