Borg by name Borg by nature, Techno DJ Ashley Borg is the personification of man meets machine. Since beginning his exploration in to electronic rave music at the age of 10 the Borg has continuously evolved and found his tastes shaped by the dynamics of 4 genres of underground dance music. His sound is characterised by its dark edge blended with melodic and atmospheric elements traversing through the musical soundscape with an output ranging from raw industrial sounds to catchy grooves. As a DJ his sets are packed with energy, representing his broad tastes in Techno, taking their influence from the past and present sounds of the UK, Holland and Berlin. Molded by years on the dance floor and behind the decks Ashley has gone on to play sets ranging from warm up to peak supporting international and local upcoming DJ’s in the Techno scene such as; Ben Klock, Derrick May, Theo Parrish, Judge Jules, Billy Allen, Onsulade, Randolph, Lange, M.O.D.E, Kontrol Room, Gareth Wild, XI (UK) and Tommy Four Seven. Playing in small to large clubs and warehouse spaces. The Borg’s ethos of hard work-hard play and respecting fellow DJ’s and party-goers has seen him become a much liked and respected member of London’s growing Techno community.
