  • The Atlas Mob project explores the relationship between sound, astronomy, physics, and geometry, and how the relationships between these subjects can be expressed in the sonic and visual realms. Synesthesia is the protagonist across the works.
Giovanni, the person behind the project, began djing in 2010. In 2015, a residency in the Vyta club in Rome introduced him to the electronic music world. After eight years performing around Italy, he began making music to play at his shows. Atlas Mob was born 2016, when Giovanni founded a music collective with three other artists. Flanda was the first bass house collective in Southern Europe. Flanda was an event organization with a mission to give a stage to new artists in the upcoming genre of bass house music. Between 2016 and 2020 the project grew, arriving to host a 12-hour festival with 2000+ attendees, with three stages split across an airfield, in the desert surrounding Madrid, Spain. Flanda hosted shows in Spain, Italy, Norway, and Ghana. It was in this period that the Atlas Mob project began to shape by learning music production techniques unique to the local djs Flanda was hosting its shows for. The sudden stop to all shows in 2020 pushed the Flanda project to a halt, allowing both its founders to fully dedicate to music production and performance. Since then, Atlas Mob has been living between Rome, Florence, and now Berlin to develop its concept to be made public via a series of singles to come out in May 2022.
