Deep, Techno, House, Deep Tech or whatever you want to name it, Dino Angioletti and Fabrizio Maurizi base the musical roots of the Bassa Clan project in the ancestral and germinal sound of Detroit. Commenced for fun as it often happens with the best things, it didn’t take long for a simple jam session on a dreary afternoon to evolve into a real recording project. The artistic backgrounds of Fabrizio and Dino, so different and distant in their forms but so similar and close in their contents, complete their natural musical metamorphosis in Bassa Clan, perfectly merging the two styles in a fluid creative process. The rhythmic element, the groove, based on the analogical drums of the 80ies and the timeless Akai MPC controller of the following decade, leads the way. Chords, strings and the vast vinyl records collection as never-ending source of sounds and ideas complete the outcome.
