- http://begun.bandcamp.com/Having submitted a number of Eps inspired, in one way or another, by specific locations around the globe, AMMA is the Barcelona producer's first long-play on the imprint and it marks a captivating evolution from much that has come before. Focused on African folkloric sonority, the forthcoming twelve-tracks album is rich with melody and sensibility, serving as another ambitious example of beGun's capacity to evoke emotions within his unique artistic identity. Real-world traditional percussion, shimmering analog synth-pads and african melodic vocal chops are sewn together in this electronic hybrid masterful assemblage of blissful music. beGun is considered one of the most prominent artists among the new Barcelona Wave generation as reflected by the positive reviews of his distinctive music identity in many international media such as VICE, NPR, RBMA Radio, BBC1 Radio, DJ MAG, XLR8R, TINY MIXTAPES, WATM, REMEZCLA, LIFEBOXSET or DANCING ASTRONAUT amongst others. His first singles “San Francisco” and “Shanghai” were awarded as the National Electronic Track of 2013 and Best National Video of 2014 respectively by The Spanish Independent Label Association, besides obtaining an extraordinary favourable reception from the whole Ibero-American music scene.
