- Ben Decent is a DJ/Producer from Toronto, CanadaBen is a multitalented artist and producer born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Ben developed a love for music at an early age after discovering his older brother's guitar. Influenced by legendary house music acts such as Robin S, Armand Van Helden, BKS, Marc Kinchen (MK), Mark Knight and others, Ben has developed a very unique sound in his productions of gritty, techy drums paired with extremely groovy basslines. Over the years, Ben has become a fixture in the Toronto house music scene, playing at major venues such as CODA, Nest, Toybox and Cabana. In addition to his own productions, Ben has produced and co-written tracks for local artists in the RnB, hip hop, house and techno genres, while also collaborating with acts such as Sinner&James, MC Flipside, Dames House and others. Ben is also a member of the respected Toolroom Records Academy. With such a strong passion and drive for music, Ben continues to push the limits of house music genres and to inspire fellow producers and patrons of the dance floor.
