- Argentinean beat maker and DJ based in London UK.Ben Ulrich, DJ and beat maker, a new name on the scene. Being raised in Argentina since birth helped encourage a dynamic musical upbringing. He was introduced to classical music, tango and folk at a young age along with more latin influences which fed his musical curiosity, leading him towards Jazz which inspired him to play the drums and percussion persistently into adulthood for the likes of bands and many different projects. Like all great musicians Ben’s sound evolved with time. He became interested in the electronic scene in the last 5 years and with continued commitment, started producing the sound that now personifies him - an unrevealed unique mix of minimal, groove and raw organic flavours. Resident and co-founder of WallMapu, one of the most up and coming underground events in Buenos Aires, hosting artists like Oshana, Lamache, Lowris, Dubtil and many more. In London his residency is with PYRMD MUSIC, another new name in the underground scene with an already lasting impression and 3 successful events hosting Pra Jescu, Leiris and Loopdeville. In the past year Ben has released on BEEYOU RECORDS, Tensei Records and under his parallel downtempo project Ōkubo.
