- Bernardo Hangar is a Spain-based techno producer and an authentic institution in this country. He released in several labels such as Sub TL, Logical Methods, Olympian, Analog Solutions and the continuation of many more references on his own label.From the first wave of spanish DJs emerged Bernardo Hangar, one of the first genuinely underground techno artist at a time when Spain was literally in the “medieval ages” in what electronic music is concerned. He ends up subjugating his style and making him one of the most avant-garde and risky artists in southern Europe. It was normal, at that time, to see him in the most important festivals in Spain. After a long period of reflection and hard production work, he decided to create his own label Dark Forest, launching its first EP “Starting Point” in September 2016. Bernardo also create productions in different labels such as Sub TL, Underdub Rec, Logical Methods, Emphatic, Olympian (Modularz) Analog Solutions, Signal rec., and the continuation of many more references on his own label. Millimeter, blunt and dark, the music of Bernardo Hangar not only has not lost a bit of the strength he had when It began, but today it seems just as necessary as it was then.
