With thousands of new records being released every single week, the music industry has become more competitive than ever.  However, the industry still gives birth to a few young artists who hold the raw talent and sound necessary to stand out. At the forefront of this new generation is 24 year old Benjamin Engelberg aka BNZO, who has recently emerged to be one of the most promising young talents coming out of the United States. Introduced to music at a young age, Benjamin was trained on classical piano, he then moved on to a Jazz performance major at the University of California in Irvine, where he studied under some of the world's most renowned jazz artists. After many years of studying and playing a wide variety of music, he has now began his venture into the production and composition side of music. He instantly found his niche as he began to dig deeper than ever into the groove of every individual instrument and track. Blending together his strong musical sense and rhythm, he has created a unique sound which holds the raw energy that grips the dance floor. His music has also began to capture the attention of audiences worldwide, including major artists such as Steve Lawler, Luciano, Matthias Tanzmann, Reboot, Martin Eyerer, Laurent Garnier, Martinez, Kaiserdisco, Davide Squillace, Timo Maas, Mauro Picotto, 2000 and One, Shlomi Aber, Yousef, and Nic Fancuilli to name a few. With successful releases already out on Lawler's imprint VIVa MUSiC (UK) and Trapez Ltd (Germany), his powerful and energetic songs are turning heads and breaking expectations. Iconic French Dj and producer Laurent Garnier sums up BNZO's music well, saying "Grooooovyyyyyyy, yessssssss, Will Play!" Stay tuned, as 2011 looks to be the breakthrough year for BNZO. What's next? BNZO has recently finished a huge remix for Germany's Butch which will be due out on Trapez Ltd. The remix is part of a special 100th Anniversary Release for Trapez Ltd, which will be released at the end of May 2011. Also be sure to check out his new track "Moonshake", which will be featured on Steve Lawler's 10th Anniversary "Lights Out" compilation CD. The track which is already being strongly supported by Lawler himself, will be the final track on the mix CD, a true tech-house Gem and perfect peak time track. "Moonshake" will also be out this summer on a separate 3 track EP from BNZO on VIVa MUSiC. Also coming soon will be a remix for Leeds based producer Darius Syrossian's "Favela Kids". The track which has already been destroying clubs and festivals world wide will also be out this summer on Lawler's VIVa MUSiC.
