- Boozandthesheep aka Stefano Iorfida fell in love with music when he received a drum kit at the age of 12. After spending a few years as a drum player he was fascinated by turntables and the sounds of the underground music scene, so that he soon starte..Boozandthesheep aka Stefano Iorfida fell in love with music when he received a drum kit at the age of 12. After spending a few years as a drum player he was fascinated by turntables and the sounds of the underground music scene, so that he soon started to spin records. He began his career playing in various clubs around Rome, and continued to perform in many venues in Naples towards the end of the 1990s. It was precisely around this time that his interest and passion for techno music became a definitive aspect of his artistic development. Through collaborations with several artists he shortly became a well-known face in the Neapolitan underground scene. It was thanks to a Roland 909 that he started to produce original pieces of music, without sticking to specific genres he explored the vast opportunities now at hand, experimenting with tunes that went from dub to house, to minimal techno. The next adventure saw him producing for Underscore Music Rec., and in 2009 started to work with the Menomale Records project, as well as creating the soundtrack for the Comicon International Festival. Most recently he joined the Codekontrol Crew, a London based collective of Djs, producers and visual artists, who under the Mediakode Management are establishing themselves as a point of reference for the electronic music scene in the UK as well as on the international level.
