Only 23 they have had two top 20 records in the UK DMC BUZZ chart, been played on the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix by Ibiza Cream resident Gareth Wyn and had their tracks supported by some the biggest DJs in the world including Richie Hawtin, Karotte (Cocoon), David Guetta (Pacha Ibiza), Tom Novy (Space Ibiza), Funkagenda (Toolroom) and Axwell. Through their versatile productions, BoysDontDance have focused their attention on creating quality yet innovative sounds without being confined to the archetypal boundaries of house or techno. Testament to this, their first records have been signed to recognized and respected labels such as Starlight, Stylus Recordings, Spinnin', Dojo Music and Stealth Records. BoysDontDance accompany their talents in the studio with their presence in the DJ booth - combining their multicultural anglo-hispanic background into the many aspects of their sets creating an ecstatic blend of rhythmic latin-infused sounds. They seek to push the boundaries of DJing with their live set up including technological tools such as Macbooks, midi controllers, a Jazz Mutant Lemur, Ableton Live and Traktor. Individually, BoysDontDance have been playing in clubs since 2005, initially in and around the cities of London, Bath and Bristol. It was here that they honed and perfected their craft and as their ability grew so too did their reputation. They decided to work together having been best friends since their school days and this friendship is reflected in their chemistry behind the decks. Armed with that subconscious understanding of the others thought pattern, behavior and mind set BoysDontDance seem to display what you would think was a meticulously rehearsed performance. Both know exactly how to manipulate, react and enhance the mood of the crowd through the medium of music and so it was too little surprise that by the time they were 20 years of age they were embracing the decks of some of London's super clubs such as Matter, Pacha, Scala and the End to name only a handful. BoysDontDance come from a solid musical background, and the journey that incurred as part of this background has helped mould who and where they are at present. The successes they have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed so far in what is a relatively short period of time has come as a result of hard work and dedication to the cause.
