- Brian currently lives in Denver, CO and produces (Evoked Recordings, Polytechnic Recordings, etc.) and DJs techy, funky, progressive styles of house. Brian has a weekly (every Wednesday) residency and party named RELEASE which is located at Mynt in De..Brian loves music and loves sharing his music. He has been playing in the club circuit since his start in Japan back in 1997. From 1997 - 2007 he would use a DJ moniker and would be known by many as Virtue. In 1999 he would venture to San Diego which would welcome him into playing the genres of funky breaks and house. In 2001, Brian moved his breaks and house sound to the Washington DC Metro area. He would go on to become one of the four original members of Give Productions and hold a four year residency at Transit before moving to Colorado. Brian’s ability to connect with his audiences, his positive personality, mixing and scratching skills, and his knowledge of what fills and keeps a dance floor moving has landed him gigs at some notable venues such as Velfarre, Liquid Room, De Ja Vu, Club Asia, Club Elements, The Flame, Rich’s, Dragon Lounge, E Street Alley, Club Montage, Insomnia, The Edge, The Blueroom, Rendezvous, FUR, Club Five, Sonar, Nation, etc. He has opened or played alongside acts such as Donald Glaude, Jon Bishop, Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Charles Feelgood, Thee-O, Terry Mullan, John B, Wolfgang Gartner, Doc Martin, Cyndi Lauper and many others. From 2008 to 2012 Brian would take some time off from regularly playing in the clubs and an interest in music production was sparked. Predominately taking on techy, funky, progressive styles of house and his new found love to create his own floor filling quality productions.
