- Dublin House and Techno Dj, Producer, Engineer and Radio PresenterBrian Taaffe is a Irish Techno Dj and Producer hailing from Dublin. Starting out on the House groove of the early nineties, Brian Taaffe has now firmly established himself among the techno elite in Ireland. Bringing together styles from House, Tech-House & Funky Techno under the influences of Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Umek and Loco Dice, He sets himself apart with a rip roaring attack on 3 Decks & Effects! With Years of Djing experience behind him and playing across the hottest clubs in Dublin and Europe, Brian announced his stamp on the production scene with a debut vinyl release on Ignition Technician’s Notorious North Record Label. With Huge support gained and plays across the globe, his follow up was just as intense on Ignition’s Sub Label Pirate Audio! Getting notice from across the pond & his hometown saw Brian remix a host of tracks on Reldz and Dublin Xpress Recordings!! As the Production’s took speed Brian became apart of the Dublin Xpress Crew and helped push the label to greater heights along side founder Desy Balmer. Late 2008 seen Mr. Taaffe back on the airwaves apart of Ireland National Broadcaster RTE’s new Project RTE Pulse. RTE Pulse was launched across the globe online and on the digital radio platform in Ireland. Every Thursday night between the hours of 12 till 2am, we get a taste of Brian Taaffe’s style and a blend of all things techno!! With Top International Guests like Dubfire, Umek, Richie Hawtin, Nic Fanculli, Valentino Kanzyani, Steve Angello all contributing to the excellence of the show, The Sequence on RTE Pulse is still Rockin’ the air waves to this day!! 2010 Sees a new path for Brian Taaffe, with the launch of his own record label!! Space Pig Recordings embarks on a new venture to create a European brand of techno on the Irish shores. Space Pig is out to push a brand of funk and groove felt across the globe and through-out the world of techno within Ireland, with their Ethos to create a flow of genuine production talent across the genres of house, techno , while releasing every e.p. with an Irish connection and promoting the host of genius that Ireland has to Offer. The first release is out Early March 2010 and has already gained serious plays from international stars like, Anderson Noise, Reboot, Luca Bacchetti, Erick Morillo, Axwell, Joachim Garraud, Eddie Halliwell and Lots Lots More!!
