  • With his vision set on humanistic driven goals and his thuglike means of achieving them, Brighton is a unique specimen of a player in a game from day one. Starting out as an MC and lyricist in early years of his musical mission...
...it was in the abstract poetics of deeper electronica where he landed home. Consequently, it did not take long from the moment he grabbed his first pair of turntables, for the local scene of Zagreb, Croatia to recognize the conducting capacity of his musical character. What still comes out of that lasting relationship charged with high standard of musical quality is a constant force of growth. Resulting in his and the scene's mutual prosperity, bound and rugged in a twisted and deviant kind of loop. Right the way he would have preferred, if he did have the suffrage in the process. DJing and throwing parties from 2007, Brighton always took his duty with a righteous dose of subtlety. From earliest radio shows to marathon club sessions he still enjoys the most, he maintained his DJ sets on a course of unobtrusive, yet ever so inviting curiosity and insatiability they evoke on the dance floors, as well as on his own soul. While doing so, he systematically deployed a matching promotional method that kept the story, told by him and his befriended associates, in a circumspect reach of a thoughtful, epicurean style of clubber. Those principles fully materialized in 2011, when he founded Das Haus, now widely celebrated Mecca of true underground clubbing. A place whose feeling is far closer to one of a home party, than one of a fully legal and settled club. With numerous international guests leaving Zagreb bewildered and amazed with the intensity of playing-at- Das-Haus experience, the local scene still flourishes under its magic. Always intrigued by the musical synthesis, 2012 saw Brighton acquire music making hardware, letting the machines channel his creative whirlpools of impudent yet playful depth and subtly complex rhythms within and out of the studio. In 2014, his studio work brought about its first release on Berlin based imprint, 777 Recordings. As his intrinsic studio shamanism continued to resonate strongly, affirmation as a full member of the 777 gang was swift and natural, now releasing regularly under their flag. With his music crossing borders, his musical taste and selection did so as well. Apart from being regular at summer festivals in Croatia such as Dimensions and Stop Making Sense from 2012, he picked and played music for the dance floors of Robert Johnson (Frankfurt) and Ohm (Berlin) kind of clubs, always striving to deliver the hypnotic intensity of the fire he started at his very home, within the walls of Das Haus.
