- Dj / Producer and sound engineer based in London.Andrea Greco, artist name Burden, is an Italian born, London based DJ, producer and sound engineer. Andrea’s DJ career was born in Rome in 2011, when he had the chance to play alongside internationally renowned techno artists at Traintek; a leading underground party in the capital. In 2013 Andrea moved to London to focus solely on music. He graduated with a Masters degree in Sound Engineering from SAE Institute, all the while immersing himself in this new city rich with experiences, and fast becoming a key player in London’s underground music scene. Culminating together, these experiences sculpted Andrea’s signature, yet versatile sound. In 2019, Andrea’s rising talent was soon recognised by several renowned parties across London and Berlin, seeing him play in clubs such as Tresor, Griessmuehle, Village Underground and Fold. 2018 saw Andrea push the parameters of his creativity as he co-created his record label ‘Aurea Records’. Here Andrea continues to release his music and collaborate with artists such as Uun, Stanislav Tolkachev, Ness, Arnaud Le Texier, and Tapefeed. In the studio, Andrea is a relentless seeker of sound perfection; his music can be described as a dynamic mix of groove and tension, energised with driving basslines, shadowy atmospheres and hypnotic leads. In 2020 Andrea immersed himself into production, as can be heard with his latest remix of Truncate on the Homonymous label, and released on a VA compiled by the French label Blocaus featuring alongside artists such as Oscar Mulero, Surgeon, Peter Van Hoesen, Function and many others.
