    It all started in 2005 when he became the unanimous winner in the highly reputed BBC ‘1Xtra Cutting Room’ competition. Since then, Callide has topped the sales charts with over 60 releases on labels such a Ram Records, 36 Hertz, Mix and Blen, Sonic Art and Junction 11, and his own imprints System Shock Recordings and Mechanical Audio. Callide’s collaborations with the likes of Camo, Tyke, & Vapour have been reported to have caused riots up and down the UK, and his no holds barred formula to music blends a mixture of edgy electronic sounds with authentic 808 bass and crunching breaks. His track Supreme on Ram Records was tagged by many as one of the biggest tunes of the year featuring on Ram’s Nightlife 5 album and on vinyl as part one of the EP series. Jaguar Skills defines the track as “Supreme IS drum and bass” and 4 years on still plays it in every single set creating a timeless anthem embedded deep in to drum and bass history. Callide has released numerous Dancefloor slammers on labels such as 36 Hertz with remixes including Vapour’s anthem track Paper Cuts (Callide Remix), and Bailey’s weapon of choice 4 weeks running on 1Xtra Dawn Raid - Breakdown (Callide Remix). Callide has also created numerous cult classics amongst the Rave scene including Ecstasy Rising as showcased on UKF, The Gun Man (the only tune to take the 1Xtra Ace of Clubs 2 weeks in a row), and the mighty Path You Choose with Intraspekt which was headhunted by Drum and Bass Arena. On the circuit Callide has travelled the globe touring Latin America, Europe and the US, with residencies in numerous destinations. Stories that have become iconic include Venezuela and Mexico City as reported by The Risky on 1Xtra, proving Callide’s commitment and dedication to his passion as a drum and bass artist. Callide is well known for his DJ skills and creativity on the decks. He’s appeared on the bill for events such as 20 years of Ram, Random Concept, Innovation in the Sun, Rinse Out, Movement, Naughty but Nice, Fresh L.A, Gener8er and Devotion, along with featuring on the airwaves for Radio 1, 1Xtra, Ministry of Sound, Bass Drive, Planet DnB and Life FM. 2013 saw the relaunch of Callide’s label System Shock Recordings kicking things off with Inferno/Hazed Out which was showcased on 1Xtra. 2013 also brought numerous projects with his collaborator of choice Intraspekt, kicking things off with a 6 track signing to Crissy Criss’s label along with the exclusive showcase of Space Theory. 2014 kicked off with a huge 2 track single on the mighty Titan Records - Drop Bombs/Pulse Wave, along with various remixes on labels such as 36 Hertz, High Scream, Addicted Audio and Titan. Callide & Intraspekt unleashed their 2nd EP on Crissy’s The Zoooo Records entitled ‘The Outbreak EP’, along their 2nd guest appearance on BBC Radio 1Xtra. Callide produced a killa cut for MC Fats album working with the man himself with a track entitled Hard Steppa’s, along with drum and bass legend Grooverider entitled Step Back.
