- Underground house music.Alvaro Calmet started Djing back in early 2003 when the music and its underground scene was really starting to grow back in his home country of Lima, Peru. Calmet has developed a very distinctive sound and passion when it comes to "house music", trying always to find a personal groove. Heavy bass lines and elegant sounds along with the same groovy spirit, a perfect continuous flow throughout the night. At a young age he´s been playing at important clubs and venues in Peru sharing decks with very recognized local and international djs including Raresh, Cabanne, Dan Andrei, Seth Troxler, Audiofly, Damian Lazarus, Troy Pierce, Vera, Guido Schneider, Nekes, Matthias Tanzmann, Clive Henry, Jay Haze, Jamie Jones, Tiefshwarz, Kate Simko, Alexi Delano, Camea, Ambivalent, Heartthrob, Ryan Crosson, Laura Jones, Xpansul, Troy Pierce, Djulz, Heartthrob, amongst others. This along with his personal desire introduced him to the local scene here. At present, Calmet is resident dj Undersound Peru, a recognized “underground” party promoter in Lima.
