Capac weave a tapestry of progressive harmony and ambient textures around precise beat programming. Their fresh post-rock infused electronica is drawn from the artful blend of innovative production and ‘real sounds’ from their self-created organic pallet. Their music embraces the beautiful and the sublime, it juxtaposes clean glitch with dirty fuzz. The result, a distinctive sound and spontaneous live show that take the dancefloor to a different place...lost in the moment. Capac released their debut ep, Pastels, through On The Shelf Records in August of 2010. They have since recorded a Maida Vale session for Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1 and contributed a track to the compilation Music Sounds Better With Huw Vol.2 which was released on Wichita Recordings in September 2010. 2011 has seen the release of a number of high profile remixes for artists on Counter Records, Monotreme Records, and Kicking Ink Recordings, as well as the continued success in syncing their music with FiveTV. Capac are currently at work on a follow up release.
