- Carisma (Caro + Isma) are electronic music producers, djs, radio host, curators and lovers from Buenos Aires. They are a key in the Argentinean underground scene working both on music and other artistic disciplines.They've released most of their music on Cómeme, the label run by Matias Aguayo: “Directamente” and “Vertigo” EPs and many participations on the label ́s compilations. Their debut album “Gratis” was released by the local label Dengue Dancing in 2017 and came out along with a three Remixes EP series featuring artists like Mr TC, Ana Helder, Djs Pareja and Theus Mago. They ́ve also released their music and remixes on labels like Huntleys & Palmers, Belters, Discos Pato Carlos, Duro, Fabric, Edit Service from I'm a Cliche and Motorik. They have played at Clubs from Europe like Salon Des Amateurs, About Blank, Griessmühle, Institut für Zukunft, Moog, Le Petit Bain and Le Sucre among latin american contemporary references as Topaz Deluxe, Hard Pop, Traición, Recreo Festival, Mamba, Dengue Dancing, Fun Fun and Loca. A portrait of their dj style can be seen in sets streamed by Boiler Room (London, 2014 and Santiago de Chile, 2019 and also two Red Light Radio sessions. The first one in Amsterdam in 2017 and a recent Red Light Radio session in Buenos Aires where they spotted their new label called Amplio Espectro among friends and artists from the local scene. They are part of the queer collective Loca, a non profit and DIY union which main goal is to build a crazy chariot for Buenos Aires Gay Pride. Loca runs parties and cultural events during the year as crowdfunding activities to raise the money for the LGTB+ Pride March. In 2019 they organized Mega Loca, their first festival. Carisma are in charge of musical curation and technical design. Carisma have just started a new project for this new decade beginning: Amplio Espectro (wide spectrum), a label for a year with monthly deliveries and digital distribution by Kompakt Records. The first release of the label is Carisma ́s second album called “Escenas” with additional production by Diego Irasusta half of Djs Pareja. Amplio Espectro focuses on contemporary beats and lost electronic gems from the last 30 years. Carisma ́s productions have been well received and played by djs like Ben UFO, Lena Willikens, Shanti Celeste, Violet, Jennifer Cardini, Barnt, Erol Alkan, Green Velvet, Pedro Winter, Justin Robertson, Prince Thomas, Kornel Kovacs, Sascha Funke, Axel Boman, Maceo Plex and Matias Aguayo. They have done remixes for Dominik Marz, Djs Pareja, Ana Helder, Ibiza Pareo, MKRNI, Worldlife feat Dj Funk, Diosque, The Chica, Sano, Charlotte Bendiks feat Lena Willikens & Daniel Maloso and Rous.
