Who is FilthyLips aka Cesar G?
Who is FilthyLips?
Back in action is one of LA’s/OC's most recognized names in the dance music industry taking the cutting-edge sound of House, Tech-House, Sexy and Dirty Drums to new levels. FilthyLips formally known as Cesar G has toured all over the country and has taken his upfront sets to whole new levels. Cesar’s policy is he sets the trends not follows them, always putting him on top of the game.
Since 1989 Cesar G the co-founder of Dynamic Tracks, Dynamic Trax International, Funk-D-Lux, Dynamic Musik, Dynamic Dual and Channel 2 has developed an original style of mixing that begins with House, Tech-House, and Dirty Drums. In the early days FilthyLips started as local Orange County resident DJ then slowly managed to dominate the scene. Cesar G and partner Jonny Lexxs created the Dynamic Dual name after their great tag team success. In a short period The Dynamic Dual developed their Djing skills and elevated them into full production.
Cesar G aka FilthyLips along with Jonny Lexxs collaborated with Richard F of Subliminal Records and produced their first record on Strictly Hype Recordings Chicago aka UC Records. The record Hyprotranzik EP got heavy mix show play all over the country and I Don’t Need Nobody was licensed by Bad Boy Bill and Richard Humpty Vision on their house Connection CD. With a great start in the record industry the Dynamic Dual felt it was time to take their production to another level.
In 1997 the Dynamic Dual started one of the first Los Angeles’ based Hard House record labels “Dynamic Tracks”. They sold a ton records in a period of 3 years and managed to release two mix compilations by the names of: The Dynamic Dual Mix and Mind Trip. Cesar G aka FilthyLips then elevated their production and released two singles on DMC records that received heavy mix show play. By this time Cesar G was thinking bigger and through the Dynamic Dual experience wanted to open their doors to Europe.
By the year 2000 Dynamic Track’s developed into Dynamic Trax International and started their sub House label Funk-D-Lux. Cesar G went from only selling records in the United States to being accepted all over the world. Dynamic Trax International and Funk-D-Lux put out such artist like: Richard F, Tony B, and Robbie Rivera. Dynamic Trax International also released three more mix compilations by the names of: Energy Driven, Klub Hitz and Transex. They managed to also license music to several European based labels like: Ministry of Sound, Virgin France, Mid-Town, and World of Dance. Cesar G and Jonny Lexxs did not want to confuse the different scenes so they gave themselves an alias name of Channel 2. Through the Channel 2 name they released a track called Ventilation that was charted by Judge Jules’ BBC Radio 1 play list for 3 consecutive weeks. Cesar G aka FilthyLips has played in Miami at WMC, Ministry of Sound, Chemistry, Afterhour Power, Avalon, all over Hollywood, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, and Mexico.
