- House & Techno DJ Producer since early 90's, formally known as the Exorcist then Chaotik Ramses.Pioneer of the French electronic scene, Chris Honorat made his debut on Radio FG in Paris in 1992 under the name of the Exorcist. He has run for two years the friday evening show, supporting in their cars the rst French ravers generation, starting their weekend. Meanwhile he worked at USA Import, Laurent Garnier’s record shop in Paris, and signed in 1995 on the famous F Communications label under the name of Chaotik Ramses. He took part in the organization of numerous parties, such as the D-Mention festival or the mythical Autom@tik party at the Rex Club, alongside Fabrice Gadeau, which has become both in longevity and in unmatched quality one of the best techno venue in France and Europe. After seven years of residence at the Rex Club and many gigs in France and abroad, Chris changed his life and moved to the South Paci c. He played in Tahiti, New Zealand and New Caledonia, discovers tribal sounds directly at the source, and worked with local artists including the rock band Tikahiri, to which he brings an electronic touch. Back in France in 2013, Chris Honorat now performs under his real name, a sign of musical maturity acquired over the years, traveling and meetings. His productions are released on various French and foreign labels including A-traction, Metrohm, KMS Records or Get Physical, for which he mixed the «Get Physical In Miami» compilation for the 2014 Winter Conference, recorded live at the Rex Club. 2017 is a turning point in Chris’s career with the launch of his label Volphonie, advocating a dark and hypnotic techno with right amount of groove, inviting to night-time voyage and introspection. A label that Chris wants at his image, and in conformity with his techno religion. This is what simply explains the scale and talent of the artists who join him today on Volphonie.
