- DJ and Producer since 1999. Born i Bergen Norway. Spendt three years in London at the hight of the minimal/deep house wave 2004 - 2007 were I studied Music Management and played regulary at cafe 1001, 93 feet east, Village underground, Public life and..Born in 1982, Solaris aka Christian Berg lived his childhood years in the rainy city of Bergen, Norway. As a young teenager he moved to Trondheim were he had his first encounters with electronic music. Being the non computer guy in a computer click, Solaris spent his time drawing sketches and listing to music from the likes of Amon Tobin, Swayzak and LTJ Bukem. Solaris claims that being a passive listener to the music presented by his nerdy friends paved the way for his love of lush quality electronic music. Now almost 20 years later he still find his place in the more atmospheric and dubby sounds of 4/4 music. Beside running a club concept, he´s also running an advertising agency. As a dj, Solaris is inspired by the likes of Craig Richards, Zip and fellow Norwegian dj´s. In the studio he sticks to his analoge gear, like the 909, 303, Juno, Prophet 12, Moog and his beloved Elektron.
