- Music enhances life and Christian Len has been constantly looking for the perfect soundtrack. After more than 20 years of musical career, Christian Len has experienced all sides of music.A transversal knowledge of music tailored for each precise aim.Musician, DJ, radio producer, booker, music supervisor, artistic director, marketing, journalist or promoter. He played in bands, programmed venues, traveled the world djing, has been resident DJ from places like Blue Marlin Ibiza, Café del Mar or Pikes, music director of radios as Openlab or Sonar Radio, he has worked with brands such as Red Bull,Facebook, Twitter, Burn or Pioneer DJ. He promotes his own party & label as Homies and his music consultancy company Floood. Everything with the same goal: to get the perfect soundtrack. The story begins in his childhood making mixes with radio recordings and then recording mixtapes for friends and partners. As a teenager, he´s played in experimental rock bands until he bought himself two decks and began to work behind the counter in a music store... Then he started his DJ career in Barcelona named as Uncolega Dj playing at successful clubs of the city like Apolo, Razzmatazz or Be Cool where he was booker and resident dj sharing lineups with the likes of Metro Area, Joakim, Radio Slave, Lindstrom, John Tejada or Dixon. But it ́s on Ibiza where he takes a step forward on the decks seduced by the Balearic spirit. He has been resident DJ of Babylon Beach, Kumharas, Coricancha and Blue Marlin. He´s been running Homies his own label and party alongside his partner Camilo Miranda, with a residency at Pikes Hotel sharing programming with DJ Harvey, Artwork or Luke Solomon. Also as a journalist ( the other musical side of Len ) he was in charge scannerFM, first Spain´s digital radio, and launched the radio of festivals such as Sonar and Primavera Sound amongst many others. In the White Island, he has coordinated Ibiza Sonica radio, Pioneer DJ Radio and nowadays he is the musical director of the respected Openlab . As a producer he has released a vynil EP with San Francisco label Lips & Rhythm teaming with Papadupau ( 50% of the band Za!) with a 11 minutes balearic odisee called "Thalassa" an homagge to the sea and it´s mediterranean roots with a spacey dubby end. Also via Homies, his own label the duo has just release another 11 minutes adventure, a slow disco cosmic journey. He´s been touring the world playing in Peru, Panama, Singapur, Thailand, Mexico or USA and performing in European capitals such as Vienna, Zurich, London, Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Berlin sharing booth with Damian Lazarus, NU, Craig Richards, Blond:ish, Soul Clap, Nightmares on Wax, Jose Padilla, Jon Sa Trinxa or Stacey Pullen to name a few. Always getting out of the box, he´s blending gems in any kind of genres using housey disco as the perfect crossover. Christian Len is part of the new Ibiza underground scene, the one that recovers the sunsets, the private parties and the hedonistic little clubs.
