After promoting events together for around 7 yearsthey filnally found themselves on the same page musically and decided to commit to trying to put a stri..Clutch Slip (aka Twandy and Leon Watson) have been writing music together since November 2010. After promoting events together for around 7 yearsthey filnally found themselves on the same page musically and decided to commit to trying to put a string of releases together. After spending a few weeks holed up in the Teccno Kitchen they had the first of their tracks finished. 'Pavement Dancer' signed to Unter Null Berlin, 'Maverick' and 'Bairdfairt' and 'Rabidfire' were signed to Neurotrax of Italy and their first full EP 'War of the Worlds/Suede Jars' was signed to Midimal Recordings. The most succesful of the initial tracks however was 'Despatched' signed to the massive Gobsmacked recordings. So far the Clutch Slip releases have seen support from names such as Diarmid O'Meara, Luke Creed, DAVE the Drummer, Apaul, Harvey Mckay and more. The next step on the ladder is the December 2011 launch of the record label 'Clutch Trax' alongside fellow Glaswegian producer Danny Smith. The label is initially going to showcase original tracks with remixes by a multitude of local talented artists with Terry Whyte, Elbodrop, WoRX and Graham Walsh on board on the first 3 releases. Clutch Slip also hold a residency at Glasgows notorious 'Hectors Discotheque' which has seen them spin alongside Luminaries such as Alan Fitzpatrick, Kyle Geiger, Alan Belshaw, Hans Bouffmyhre and more at venues as diverse as disused paddle steamers on Loch Lomond, Marquees hastily erected in the middle of nowhwere and creepy basements under indian restraunts! Previous other gigs have seen the guys alongside Surgeon and Regis (aka British Murder Boys), Jamie Bissmire (Space DJz), Paul Langley, DAVE the Drummer, Ade Fenton, Max Walder, Chris Finke and Chris Liberator. ..
