- I am a DJ/Remixer/Producer/Label Owner (Head Honcho Digital Vinyl Recordings) Hope you like what you hear...PEACE!CooLRoGRoX (CRX) aka The L.I.M. Project Veteran DJ/Remixer/Producer/Label Owner and multi-label recording artist CooLRoGRoX (CRX) aka The L.I.M. Project presents (FL,US) has been DJ’g since ’83 when he received his first mixer: A Radio Shack Realistic! Starting out during the golden age of Rap and Hip-Hop, he was later introduced to House music in ’89 by future friends and production partners The Torres Bros. As the silent partner and third brother of The Torres Bros. production team, he has been producing and re-mixing since ’93. Raised on Motown and Disco, but also having influences of Classic Rock and ‘70’s Soul, as well as a lot of AM Gold; His productions and re-mixes incorporate new millennium vibes w/the roots of his musical background, while his DJ’g is an energetic hot mix blend of the choicest House tunes from Deep Vocs to Tribal and Disco Filter Funk to Big Anthems and Dirty Electro/Techno, and of course the Classics and Future Classics! Not afraid to mix across Dance genres and drop in that unexpected surprise, he is able to rock a crowd from the ‘darkest undergrounds’ to the ‘lightest overground’ clubs without blinking an eye! Spinning for many years in N. Florida from Jacksonville to Orlando he has spent the last decade in HOT South FL! His residencies and special guest DJ appearances have included clubs from W. Palm Bch. to Ft. Lauderdale and South Beach. Also, CooL RoG has made countless guest DJ appearances in some of Sobe’s hottest spots including but not limited to: Blue, Bash (old), Tantra, Lua (Back Door Bamby), KGB, Level, 6 degrees, Luna, STATE, The Forge and so on...You can also catch him making special guest DJ appearances at venues like The Trump International (Pool Party), Newport Beach Resort/Kitchen 305, Diesel, A/X, and Ralph Lauren’s Club Monaco in SoBe. CooLRoGRoX acquired a long discography while working with the Torres Bros.: M.I.X. Records, Aqua Boogie Records, Waxhead Records, StreetBeat Records, Groovalicious, Whirling Records, Waako Records...and the list goes on. Since then, he has been out on his own for some time now, producing and re-mixing his way to a solo career! Under the moniker of CRX and The L.I.M. Project presents…CooLRoG has been and will continue to introduce many new and exciting things to the underground club scene. Since the inception of his solo career, he has acquired many releases and remixes on such prominent labels as: Nervous Records NYC, Harlequin, Distant Drum Recordings, Decibel NYC, Harlem Station Recordings, Detox Recordings, Gotta Keep Faith and many more, not to mention the countless remixes and original productions also available on his own label Digital Vinyl Recordings.
