- Cooptrol started producing electronic music in 1995 and has since released various Eps and Lps and toured Europe and South America.Cooptrol is the project of Hernán González (Johannesburg, 1976), who produces electronic music since 1995. He has released various albums that range from purely experimental sound to well defined genres such as techno or dubstep. His music has been released by labels from Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Venezuela, Colombia, Spain, Switzerland and Germany. He also produces audiovisual performances and installations that have been presented in countries like Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, South Africa and Uruguay. Gonzalez has been working in the advertising music and sound design area since 1998, having founded his audio production company Tono in 2006. Now he is producing music for theatre, contemporary dance and films, and playing live house music at clubs in Uruguay and abroad.
