  • Dj of dance music in La by way of San Francisco
San Francisco dance music institution Lights Down Low celebrates 10 years of throwing parties in the Bay Area and beyond. What began as a tiny monthly party at the infamous 222 Hyde club in the Tenderloin has become a multicity enterprise dedicated to hedonism in all its glory. With regular parties in Los Angeles and special one-offs at Coachella, Austin’s South by Southwest, and the list goes on, Richie Panic & Corey Sizemore are renowned for lighting clubs on fire, metaphorically speaking. The boys are also notorious for their infamous Fuck Burning Man Party, which has now been banned from 2 different clubs in SF. Lights Down Low has featured too many headliners to count, but some of their most notable acts include Simian Mobile Disco, Disclosure, Four Tet, Barnt, Jackmaster, Evian Christ, Daniel Avery, Erol Alkan and Silent Servant. Founders and resident DJs Corey Sizemore and Richie Panic both got their start in small venues, throwing intimate parties with wild vibes. Separately, each had a dedicated following of partygoers who trusted their taste and curation. Together though, the two have built Lights Down Low into a partygoing institution that spans genres, cultures, crews, genders, and more. Everything Lights Down Low stands for, and everything Richie & Corey aim to do is done under the aegis of bringing people from across the dance music cultural spectrum together to rave on the same dancefloor.
