- Trance-infused UKG & breaks from ManchesterStraight out of the UK dance music melting pot comes the ineffable Brighton and Manchester based duo Cortese. A charming blend of garage, breaks and house make up their core musical DNA, often switching between pumping four-to-the-floor beats and steppier rhythms with a sharp ear for rave-ready yet soul-soothing melodies. It’s the sum of all their influences combined that make their music so special, and it’s quickly being noticed. Early self-releases like the infectiously catchy Renault Sport paved a clear path, and with every subsequent release you can hear the influences spread wider and the grooves deeper.
